I’m sitting here watching the news about Iraq, and I have to consider the whole concept of bugging out.
There are thousands of people leaving their homes and running away, I wonder how average Americans would be acting in a similar situation. Admittedly, most of the people in Iraq have family they are relocating too.
How many of us actually have a fully stocked bug out location(BOL)? Is this even a real question? How can anyone with a family and a mortgage consider a second?
I think the BOL is a fantasy born online for people to dream about. What is to say the area you pick as a BOL won’t be where everyone is running from?
I can say for sure being a single father with 1 income, I’m stuck in the same place as all of you who read this. I’ve got what I have and have no intention of ever being a refugee.
I’d like to hear from some of you, find out your feelings on the matter. Too many sites push for the ideal, the place in the mountains where they have everything stocked forever. I just don’t see a working family doing it.
Maybe I’m wrong , what do you think?
Have a wonderful weekend regardless:)
